Kambri was our little Snow White for Halloween. We let her decorate her own pumpkin, which she was so proud of and she loved wearing her costume. She was especially excited about her candy bag. She had such a tight grip on that thing all night long!!! Kambri even said, "trick or treat" to a few of the candy givers.

San Diego
During my fall break, we rented our San Diego beach house to spend some time together as a family and RELAX. We hung out on the beach, got coffee from our favorite coffee shop (the cute lady that owns it made Kambri a special drink every morning, too) every morning, and we even took Kambri to Sea World for the first time. It was so nice to get out the heat!!!
Yikes! It's been a while!
I've gotten so busy with work and trying to just keep up with life that I've completely neglected Kambri's blog for a few months. Now that I'm into the second quarter of school and starting to catch my stride, I'll try to catch back up. Here are a few pictures of Kambri at 14 months old.

This is a picture of Kambri when we've gone in to wake her up in the morning. She's such a morning person like her mama!

Rather than ride her pony, Kambri likes to stand on it... we think she's going to be a trick pony rider when she gets older.

If Dave isn't working on the weekends, one of our favorite things to do is sit in the front room and have coffee and read the newspaper. Kambri of course gets in on the action with her sippy of milk and the advertisements section of the paper.

I think it's a little bit of the Dora influence, but Kambri loves her backpack. When Kambri first started wearing it the backpack would almost tip her backwards with all of the books and toys she would stuff in there.

Baby Stella
We went to see beautiful baby Stella now that she has finally joined the world and Kambri was hamming it up as usual. She kept kissing Stella's head and rubbing all over her head and face and saying, "nice!" I think Kambri's very excited to have another girlfriend to pal around with in the coming years!

San Diego
These pictures are from our annual San Diego trip. Kambri had so much fun hangin' with the fam and playing at the beach. She was only two weeks old during last years trip, so this was a totally new experience for her. She loved the sand! She would pick up big handfuls of it and rub it all over herself and of course she even tried to eat it. We were also surprised by how much she loved the water, too. She wasn't scared of the waves at all and didn't shy away at the cold water. We wished we could have stayed longer, but we had a blast while we were there and look forward to next year when she'll be running around!

Birthday Girl!
Kambri is now 1! Holy moly, where did the time go?!?! I can't believe our little baby is now a toddler! Kambri had the most amazing first birthday! She got to take part in the Kevane traditions of the 4th of July that I grew up loving as a child (and well, lets be honest, i still love and look forward to every year)... particularly the homemade ice cream made with the old fashioned, hand crank machine that belongs to Kambri's great-grandparents. Talk about made with love!!! Kambri also had a big birthday bash thrown for her with the rest of her family and friends. Kambri is truly a blessed little girl to be surrounded by so many people who love and

adore her so much!

Too Cute!
Where's Kambri?!?!
In the past few months, since Kambri's been crawling, I have pretty much just been running around the house following following and picking up after her. I know it'll get worse once she starts walking, but already I feel like she's into EVERYTHING!!! Aside from getting into all of the cabinets, laundry baskets and crawling under tables and chairs, her favorite past times also include getting into mama's jewelry and hair accessories and also opening our dresser drawers and pulling all of the clothes out of them. I spend most of the day cleaning up after a trail of Kambri, but I don't mind at all. So long as she's having fun exploring, I'm happy too!

Book Worm
Kambri has loved books since she was just a few weeks old. Now that she has the coordination, she likes to hold the book and turn the pages herself. She even babbles like she's reading each page! Now we just have to wait and see if she wind up like mama and love stories or like dada and love reading textbooks.

This book actually belonged to Aundrea when she was a little girl. Now it's one of Kambri's favorites! Kambri likes to take her books and sit on Rylee's bed behind the couch and read.
